We believe education becomes meaningful when learners can experience, question, create and act. We work with teachers, schools, students and communities to make learning real, and we nurture care for the environment as a natural part of that learning.

Tree India Foundation works with teachers, school leaders, students and communities to build the knowledge, skills and learning spaces needed for meaningful education. Alongside strong learning, we help young people understand their environment, build green skills and take responsibility for the world around them. Our work brings together education, green skills, experiential learning and community participation in one connected journey.

TIF creates hands-on learning experiences that help learners understand environmental challenges, build green and transferable skills, and turn what they learn into action.
Through projects, experiments, sustainability challenges and student-led initiatives, learners develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, problem solving and responsible decision making.

The world around us is a living classroom. TIF enables students to step beyond the classroom and learn through real places, ecosystems, livelihoods, crafts, food systems and communities.

TIF turns everyday surroundings into spaces for learning, exploration and ecological action. Through nature-based experiences, reading, observation, gardens and food forests, learners build a deeper understanding of biodiversity, food systems, soil, water and their own relationship with nature.
